True Parity Patient Advocacy
Out-of-Network Coverage Advocacy

Seeing out-of-network providers, for an in-network rate.

When your network can't meet your needs, you're usually left with two choices: settle for an in-network provider who isn't right, or go out-of-network and pay the full cost.

There's a third almost no one knows: the plan can be required to cover your out-of-network provider at in-network rates. It's real, easy to get wrong, and exactly what I handle.

For mental health, specialized, and developmental care, the right provider often isn't in your insurance network. I help you secure out-of-network coverage at in-network rates, so you see the provider who's right for you, and pay something close to an in-network copay instead of the full out-of-network cost.

And it works better for your provider, too: coverage at rates well above standard in-network contracts and typical out-of-network reimbursement, so they can keep doing the work they do best.

For providers Yes — I partner with providers directly. 🙂 Feel free to reach out.
My Services

Where networks fall shortest

I focus on the areas where the right provider is hardest to find in-network, and where a documented need is the strongest basis for coverage.

Mental Health & Psychiatry

Individual, couples, and family therapy, and psychiatry, including when you need a provider who speaks your language, shares your cultural background, or has the availability the in-network list doesn't.

Specialized Behavioral Health

Care requiring specific expertise or approach: eating disorders, trauma and PTSD (including specialized modalities), and autism / ABA therapy. These are exactly the cases where "find someone in-network" fails.

Habilitative & Developmental Care

Speech therapy, occupational therapy (OT), and early intervention. A persistent shortage of providers leaves a real coverage gap, especially for children who need services before, or outside of, school-based programs.

Perinatal & Related Care

Lactation consulting, perinatal mental health, and nutrition counseling: care around pregnancy and early parenthood where the right specialist is often out-of-network.

Not sure if your situation fits? Reach out. The first step is always finding out whether you have grounds, and I'll tell you honestly.

How It Works
01

We talk

I learn your situation: your plan, your provider, why in-network doesn't fit.

02

I qualify it

Not every case has the grounds to win. I tell you honestly whether yours does before you commit.

03

I handle the insurer

The calls, holds, documentation, and follow-ups.

04

You get covered

You walk away with the approval secured and a clear picture of the coverage you're entitled to.

The Grounds for Coverage

Coverage isn't a favor. It's grounded in real gaps in your plan's network.

Language & cultural fit

You need a provider who speaks your language or understands your background, and the network can't provide one.

Specialty & modality

Your condition requires specific expertise or a specific therapy in-network providers don't offer.

Provider shortage

No in-network provider is available, accepting new patients, or within reach.

Continuity of care

Switching providers would set back active treatment.

Acute need

Your situation is high-risk or time-sensitive, and waiting for an in-network opening isn't a viable option.

About Me

Adi Atlas

As a former lawyer, with a background in strategy consulting and product management, I bring a combination of skills to a problem that sits exactly at their intersection. Securing out-of-network coverage is part legal reasoning, part problem-solving under messy, real-world constraints, and part building clarity in a process most people experience as chaos.

I launched my patient advocacy business after seeing the problem up close: the right provider is so often out of network, the path to getting them covered exists but is hidden, and almost no one is helping people walk it. It started close to home, helping friends and family for years, and grew from there. By now I've secured out-of-network coverage across all four major commercial carriers, for needs ranging from language and cultural fit to specialized care and provider shortages. I handle the calls, the documentation, and the follow-through, so the people I work with can focus on getting care instead of fighting for it.

My commitment: I'll set honest expectations from the start: a clear read on your odds, how the process works and how long it takes, and what your provider will need to do.
